The committee of the 1st International Conference on Computational Logistics is inviting high quality scientific presentations and extended abstracts as well as papers dealing with either theoretical or practical logistics operations, especially those with computational applications to real-world business.

We consider logistics operations and management in their full generality, taking into account any mode of transportation. Special emphasis will be put on studies incorporating real-world cases. A non-exhaustive list of topical areas for this conference is as follows:

• Theoretical and empirical analysis of logistics operations
• Modeling, simulation and evaluation of the involved organizations
• Heuristics and meta-heuristics implementation in logistics related models
• ERP and any other information systems related applications in logistics
• Strategies and operations of logistics service providers
• Service integration of agents or carriers within the logistics business
• Consolidation and distribution for agents or shippers within the logistics business
• Innovations on either the methodologies or the business processes
• Lean management of project logistics
• Process intergration

Prospective presenters and authors are kindly requested to notify as soon as possible the organizing committee about their interest in presenting and/or submitting a paper or extended abstract. A fast reviewing process is guaranteed. Based on presentations and extended abstracts, authors will be invited to submit full papers after the conference. Those selected papers will be compiled and published in the book series Lecture Notes in Computer Science, which is EI indexed. Papers should conform to the author instructions and be submitted electronically in WORD or PDF format either by e-mail to the organizing committee or the official e-mail address of the conference: iccl@econ.uni-hamburg.de.
